RESOURCES
According to the Law 4430/2016 for the Social and Solidarity Economy and Development, the resources of the Cooperative are the founding capital and the capital that results from the disposal of new cooperative shares, from the exercise of its activities and the exploitation of its assets. Revenues may come from grants from the Public Investment Program, the European Union, international and national organizations, Grade b Local Government Organizations and revenues from other programs, bequests, third-party donations, subscriptions, grants and use of assets. The profits of the Cooperative are not distributed to its members, unless these members are also employees but are allocated annually at a rate of 5% for the formation of a regular reserve, at a rate of 35% are distributed to employees of the company and the rest is used to create new jobs and the general expansion of its productive activity.
The members of the Social Cooperative Companies, according the Greek Law, provide unpaid services and collaborate with others who provide voluntary and unpaid work to serve its purposes. The General Assembly of the members is the supreme body of the Cooperative which decides on every case concerning the Cooperative. Given the Greek and international financial situation, which causes significant problems in the private sector, we work with people who offer volunteer work and support the design and implementation of our projects. The operating costs of the company are covered by the low fees of the events.
