Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C, in the context of compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union 2016/679, uses secure mechanisms for storing the data that is registered.

The personal data collected depends on the service to be provided, as appropriate. Submitting personal data, it also means acceptance of the operating conditions of the Institute and their utilization in legal procedures now and in the future.

The provision of incomplete data from those required for the successful provision of services by the Institute implies the non-receipt of the corresponding services for which they were requested, based on the degree of completeness of the information provided. 

The data can be collected from various sources, such as individuals and organizations that submit it themselves, via emails, mobile phone messages (SMS), telephone communication, or from publicly accessible sources.

The personal data are used in the creation of collaborations, for the negotiations in the case in which they were submitted, or in future ones that may be of interest. Consent for the processing of personal data is revoked at any time by submitting a request by email to institutemediterranean@gmail.com.

Access to personal data, their processing and their portability to other organizations is provided, when requested by the beneficiaries.

The data collected by the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C for its operational needs are protected from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, deterioration, prohibited dissemination or access and any other form of unfair processing.

In case of a data leak or breach, the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C will take all necessary measures to inform the beneficiaries and the Authorities. If, respectively, it is perceived by anyone, leakage or violation of data, it is an obligation to immediately inform the Institute.

Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C is not responsible for or guarantees the content, privacy policy, quality of services and security of other websites which link to its website through links and citations.

This information is valid from the day of the foundation of the Institute and is posted on the website of the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C.

B. PRIVACY POLICY ON PHOTOGRAPHY AND VIDEO RECORDING OF EVENTS ORGANIZED AND/OR PARTICIPATED THE MEDITERANEAN INSTITUTE FOR EDUCATION

In the context of the General Data Protection Regulation GDPR (2016/679/ EU), which came into force on 25 May 2018, we inform you that in all the events that organizes and/or participates the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C, are taken photos and videos. These photos and videos are uploaded on our websites and used to promote the events to the public through any printed and digital publications, media and social networks (e.g. press releases in newspapers, magazines and other media, websites, social media, journals etc).

By participating to the events that organizes and/or participates the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C, you declare that you are informed about the collection and use of the aforementioned video/audio data and you consent to their use. If you do not wish to be included in photography and video recording, you can declare it at the beginning of each event and make special arrangements. You can also let us know about your presence in photos and video content which has been published by the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C, so we can stop viewing it to the public.

In addition, for Intellectual Property matters, the events’ speakers and discussants, with their participation, declare their consent to the use of the intellectual content that they submitted by the Mediterranean Institute for Education S.C.C.
